Question:

Swollen Foot due to Muscle Knots??????

I just turned 18 on Sunday and I'm obese, but this has never been a problem. I have really bad blisters on the side of my left foot that I have been picking at for some time now. They aren't really even blisters anymore... just open sores. I guess I've been walking funny because the right side of my foot has been cramping up. This happened before when I broke my toe and I just massaged it on a massager thing and it went away. I've been on vacation the past week and haven't had the massager with me. You can feel muscle knots in my foot and they hurt so much. Just applying a little pressure makes me jump in pain. Everyday my foot has become noticably swollenER and I was wondering if that is normal? Has anyone ever had a swollen limb due to a muscle knotting??

I'm home and massaging it right now, but it hurts so much. My foot is twice the size as my other one... literally. Is this something I should be concerned with? I'm going to keep an eye on it and try to stop picking at my sores. In the mean time... can anyone relate?
