  1. if you have a heating pad it works wonders for the legs and have someone massage them. also sit with your legs elevated this will help with the swelling.

  2. Drink drink drink...plain water, if you can stomach it about 2.5-3 litres a day, it will help with fluid retention. If you hold back on fluid your body will hang on to it more. I suffer the same problem and I was naughty yesterday and only drank a litre, I am now suffering the consequences. Put your feet up (if possible) higher or lever with your heart to help drain the fluid. But it could take 24 hours before the swelling goes down. If it hasn't resolved itself overnight I would call your Ob in the morning you may need your blood pressure checked just in case.

  3. put your feet up as much as possible try a warm bath but defiantly put your feet up

  4. I had the same with my first baby, and was put on bed rest. Although I have found drinking lots of water actually helps the swollen feet, try to take a short walk once or twice a day also, other than that keep em up. and goodluck!
