  1. ICE it!

  2. An ice pack, and ibuprofen.

  3. If the teeth aren't sore or loose, or if there isn't an open cut on the lip, then all you can do now is wait.  Ice helps reduce swelling if used within the first 24 hours, once swelling has set in, it's there for the duration.  You may want to try taking some Ibuprofen which may help reduce the inflammation and discomfort.  If your teeth are sore or loose, see your dentist immediately for an evaluation.  Sometimes a blow from a fall can cause serious damage to the teeth that may not show up until later.

  4. Ahhhh, Well grasshopper...don't talk back.....Having said that let me add that you said you have a swollen lip...that's a bit like saying "I have a sore toe"...Ok, we now have that much information, but it's not enough to hazard even a guess as to what your lip problem may be....I can tell you one thing for sure.....involving yourself in an excessive period of playing suck face with a dear friend can certainly leave you with a swollen lip...Would like to offer a serious opinion but I just don't have enough information from you.... Knowing you fell was helpful, but did you bleed at the lip or are your teeth sore ...Good luck and I wish you well.

  5. did you have an insect bite?

one time a mosquito bit my lip and took days before the swelling got off. taking antihistamines would help.
