Swollen spleen in horses?

I have a white Lipizzaner with melanomas. She has been on a herbal treatment for this type of cancer. the herbs cut off the blood supply to the cancer cells which makes them dry up and die when they get to the surface. After several months we have notice that her spleen has enlarged. I was told that it is very rare that horses get tumors in the spleen. I think they do, it is part of the lymph system. Is there any thing I can do to help the organ, like detoxing? I have already ask the vets they laughed about the herbs which tells me they are not very educated in other forms of medicine.

  1. There is no specific treatment by medicine or sugery for horses in this connection. Hence please continue with the herbal treatement and it may subside it in due course. The science for treatment of cancer that too in spleen in animal have not developed fully, as the researchers are busy with human cancers. I do not think there is any possible help or treatment for your complication. Best wishes for your horse for a cure by herbal treatment-
