Swollen taste buds??

i get these little tiny bumps on my tongue not much larger than a taste bud. they are very painful, but don't grow or spread. they seem to appear when i bit my tongue. should i be worried or just wait for them to heal?

It's just a local irritation caused by the injury of biting your tongue.  It's normal and nothing to worry about.  Just wait them out.  You can get the same thing happening after eating something like hot chiles as well- or other highly spiced things.  Not a big deal, although they can get painful.  Just your body's way of telling you to have a little more care with your tongue.
