Swords Star to thrill the party in SIS Live Open 525 at Shelbourne Park
November has proved to be a lucky month for Swords Star, who is doing a wonderful job these days. After facing a few embarrassing defeats in October, the black dog got his act together at the start of this month.
On the third of November, he regained his momentum by taking the second place. Gilbert’s trainee had every chance of snatching the top place, but failed awfully.
Continuing his excellent work, the son of Swords Prince secured an excellent win on November 10th. He showed early pace, and always led the proceedings. A superb acting helped him capture the first place by two and a half lengths.
Another fine performance was shown by him a few days ago. The audience at Shelbourne Park saw him finishing second to Scary Carey. He ran brilliantly, but remained unlucky. As a result, he missed the gold by half a length.
In great shape, Swords Star is all set to carry forward the great work in the SIS Live Open 525, to be held on Thursday, November 22, 2012. The open event is scheduled to begin at 22:20 GMT. The winner of this crucial meeting will get a prize of 500 Euros.
Hillcroft Joe is coming back here after performing below par at different venues. On his latest ride, the black dog was fourth on the chart. Despite having the draw in favour, the son of Top Honcho does not make much appeal.
Similar is the situation with Harbour Watch. The blue dog was awful on his previous two trips. He needs more than a special effort to break the shackles.
Climb A Tree, according to our calculation, is the second best choice for betting. The son of Honcho Classic performed magnificently at the end of October, when beating Isabels Boy by a length’s distance. He is consistent, and should not be overlooked.
Jimmythreesticks has not yet settled down at this level. He won two A2 events, but lost his way when promoted to the open level. Riverside Cashen is in good momentum after two straight wins at the A1 level. The black dog is stepping up in class, and will
be under enormous pressure.
