Sydney Sixers beat Brisbane Heat by seven wickets – Big Bash League – Match Update
Sydney Sixers overcame Brisbane Heat by seven wickets in the first match of the Big Bash Twenty20 League at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Australia on Friday, December 16, 2011.

None of the Brisbane bowlers managed to make a solid impression, as the opposition cased the target comfortably in the end.
