Pat Cummins
One of the youngest players to be granted a central contract by Cricket Australia, 19-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in Cape Town, before going on to make
equally impressive ODI and Test debuts against the Proteas. Having returned to the scene of his debut with the Sydney Sixers for the ongoing CLT20, Cummins appears to be channelling the same spirit with which he broke into the international cricketing scene.
The young right-armer, considered part of the future of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Twenty20 campaign, during which he was
the third-highest wicket-taker for the team, with 6 scalps from 6 matches to his name.
Cummins is currently the Sixers’ fourth-highest wicket-taker in the ongoing CLT20, with 5 wickets from 4 matches to his credit, and claimed his best figures – 2 for 13 – against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558 absent from the line-up, the Sixers
will be counting on Cummins to team up with Starc and take the Titans’ batsmen down.
Moises Henriques
An unexpected but much-welcome surprise, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Moises-Henriques-c2021 established his worth as a competent all-rounder for the Sydney Sixers in their first match against the Chennai Super Kings, during which he scored an unbeaten 49, in addition to claiming 3 for 23,
going on to win the Player of the Match award after the Sixers secured a 14-run win.
Since then Henriques has gone on to claim 7 wickets from 4 matches at an average of 11.42 and an economy rate of 6.66, in the Sixers’ CLT20 campaign so far, and is currently the team’s second-highest wicket-taker (between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mitchell-Aaron-Starc-c76392 and Shane Watson),
and the sixth highest in the overall tournament.
In addition to playing in the national and domestic circuit, as well as for the Sixers, Henriques has also participated in the Indian Premier League, during which he has been affiliated with the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders (who granted him
a contract of up to US$300,000). Currently a veteran of 59 T20s, with 43 wickets to his credit, Henriques will be eager to add to his tally, while the Sixers will be banking on him to deliver against the Titans.
Josh Hazlewood
Among the younger, and more inexperienced members of the Sydney Sixers’ squad, 21-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Josh-Reginald-Hazlewood-c69504 has only played a total of 10 T20s, and has 7 scalps in the format to his credit. Nevertheless, he has featured as an important part of the Sixers’
bowling attack in the ongoing CLT20, although admittedly he has frequently been overshadowed by fellow pacers, mostly youngsters Starc and Cummins.
The young right-armer has been a vital part of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in
June 2010.
Hazlewood was the Sixers’ 6th-highest wicket-taker during their successful Big Bash League campaign, with 3 scalps from 3 matches to his credit. During their ongoing CLT20 campaign he is currently the 5th-highest wicket-taker, with
3 wickets from 4 matches. While he has chipped in with useful contributions for the side, the young pacer has not achieved anything extraordinary – however, he will undoubtedly be looking to make a statement as the team moves into the semi-finals of the tournament.
