Sydney Uni's?

Question

Can someone tell me how many uni's are in sydney with a list as i cant find on the internet. Which of them is best for enginnering.

This site should give you the information you are looking for. I can't help with which one would be best for engineering, but as a general rule, the 'sandstone' unis (in Sydney, that would be the Uni of Sydney) have the best reputations.

I agree with fruitsalad.

All the engineers in our family studied at University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and now my son and nephew are studying there.  It certainly has the best reputation for Engineering.

However, it hasn't the appeal of Sydney University as it lacks the beautiful sandstone buildings and landscape.  UTS does not have on site accomodation either, although they have accomodation nearby.  It lacks the social interaction of on campus intercollege competitions etc ...... but if you are wanting to study more and socialise less, then UTS would be the better choice.

This website only has a few of the Uni's in Sydney, but they are the most popular ones. Think it will all depend on what type of enginnering you are talking about.

UNSW is good for science based stuff and so is UTS.

The uni's I can think of are Sydney University, University of NSW, Macquarie University, University of Technology, University of Western Sydney. Perhaps UTS (Uni of Tech) would be best for engineering? It probably depends which type of engineering as to which is better.
