  1. sorry mate  the cats won, but good effort to the swans fort back to 3 points, good push for cats who ran away in last qrtr

  2. they looked the ggods, got with in 3 points, but Geelong well far to strong and ran away with a easy 42 point win

  3. im not surprised they lost

  4. both teams have there straights with Sydney's back line the best in the comp at the moment and geelongs star midfielders it sould be a good game closer then what people i reckon, but with out hall the swans might struggle.

  5. No, 32-8 with 3 mins left in the 1st. Not looking good, but hey they could come back.

    Swans lost 114 - 72

Scoreboard didn't tell the true story. Swans played good, but Cats just broke away in the last 10 minutes. Should have been a 15 point loss

  6. sydney are a great team

theyre definitely good enough to beat geelong

    should be a great match

btw, score update, sydney have come back

    geel 7.9.51

    syd  6.7.43

    3rd qtr 4 mins

  7. Poor old swannies got eaten alive by the  cats !! SORRY !!

  8. They fought a good fight, just struggled in the final 10mins.. Bugger.. But lucky theres always next week!

  9. Using my awesome mind powers...(and the fact the match was over about 3 hours ago!)...I'd have to say.....No!

  10. Wow the swans did awesome - I had some money on the swans winning, and they were within 10 points within about 9m mins to go and then geelong pulled away. As a swans supporter I am really proud of the guys the stepped up today and if they keep this form up I do believe they might see a grand final in their reach....

  11. Well yeah I thought so too and am quite depressed especially what seemed a capitulation by our Team in that last quarter.  Geelong are obviously the team to beat this year and when the Swans have their full contingent available well I guess we'll give it another go.  The Swans usually can hang on well but I feel that they tired which is unlike them and that home-ground advantage is big at Skilled Stadium.  Not a lot of skill evident there today in the area of goal kicking.  Too many uncharactaristic mistakes made today.  We will have to put that one behind us.  Really missed Kennelly and yes, Hall too.

  12. i dont see it happening but best of luck anyway

  13. Sydney made it too close early in the 4th quarter, but Gaz Jr. decided that Geelong had to win, 16.18.114 to 10.12.72 for the Cats.

35 possessions, 3 goals in the 4Q for Ablett. Cats made the margin much more than what it should have been. Sydney had Geelong's number.

Lucky win for Geelong according to my ears.

Thanks again to Andrew Demetriou that I could not watch the game on television here in the USA.
