Sydney e-tag?

Does it cost anything just to have one? Are there any fees associated with them, other than just the cost of the tolls?

IF you buy the e-tag then their is no other cost. If you don't buy it then you have to pay a monthly fee for it.

You may also be charged for topping it up with funds.

The other thing is some companies have them cheap then others.

The best thing about them for me is if you use certain roads you may be eligible for a discount on you tolls and if you don't have the tag you can't get the discount.

It also means when you travel m7 etc. you don't need to pay an extra fee for administration when you pay for using the road.
