  1. Apart from the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, I suggest:

    1. Luna Park - a very famous and historic theme park with classic rides

    2. The Rocks area

    3. Go up Centrepoint Tower and do SkyWalk or OzTrek (motion theatre)

    4. Visit famous Taronga Zoo (catch a ferry there)

    5. Head out west to the Blue Mountains

This is all I can think of at the moment and I wish you'll have fun and take home priceless memories! :)

  2. I'm not a Sydney resident, just an Ozzphile, like yourself, but I have had the privilege of visiting the land of Oz, and here are my top 5 picks for the home of the First Fleet: 1) Sydney Harbor tour (by boat).  We took a dinner cruise, but I'd recommend doing it without this since the food was just so-so and in the process of sitting to eat we missed some of the sights.  We did go on Palm Sunday afternoon, though, and all the sails in the harbor were breath-taking.  2) Sydney Tower.  The view from the top is amazing, but they also have a couple attractions inside the venue itself that are educational and just plain fun.  3) Day-trip to the Blue Mountains.  You just gotta do it, and if you take a guided tour, they'll help get you to all the best places.  4) Taronga Zoo or Featherdale Wildlife Park.  We went to Featherdale because of the quantity of direct interaction with the wildlife for no extra charge (pet a koala, etc.; my friend had a emu steal stuff out of her purse), but overall Taronga is a much better zoo.  5) Take in a show at Sydney Opera House.  I wasn't overly impressed with the tour of the facility, but... how can you go to Sydney and not "do" the Opera House?  Thus, get tickets in advance for a good show, and you'll get to be one of the in-crowd.  (P.S. While you're waiting for the trip, pick up one of William Stuart Long's novels in his series "The Australians" from the library and dream in absentia.)

  3. Well there are many places you can see.

Many tourist spots are right next to each other so I'll group it all for you

    1. Sydney harbour bridge, Opera House, Rocks, Lunar Park, Bondi Beach and Paddy's market (if u wanna go shoppig for some cheap stuff), Sydney Aquarium, Taronga Zoo, Milsons Point.

    2. Blue Mountains and Jenolan caves

    3. Sydney Olympic Park

  4. Sydney opera house,

    Sydney Harbour bridge,

    Shops

    the rocks area,

    Sydney Olympic Park,

    and Bondi Beach

  5. Other suggestions are visiting The Rocks area - historic area built with convict labour, harbour bridge climb, Bondi beach (or any beach really, they're all great), the cafes and restaurants at Cockle Bay opposite Darling Harbour - they are waterfront with a great atmosphere, even if you just stroll around without actually eating. Take a couple of ferries and/or water taxies around to explore.

There are a lot of great festivals and events if you can time your visit to fit with one, eg Festival of Sydney, g*y and L*****n Mardi Gras, New Years Eve, plenty others, Sydney throws a really good party. Have fun!
