Sydney school timings/transport?

What are the general timings of primary schools in Sydney and are there school buses that pick up and drop off the kids?

I am looking at Catholic schools.

My kids have to be at school by 8:25, and school finishes at 3:05.  

Our school has buses that bring the kids from further afield....I've seen lots of schools like that.

Well, I go to a Catholic high school and there is a bus service for anyone who lives outside the 2km circle radius set by my school. I'm sure other schools would have something similar.

Most primary schools generally start at 9.00 but you need to be there at 8.45.
