Syllogism : what are the contradictory statements for the following ?

there are four basic statements in syllogism

1) all A are B

2) no A are B

3) some A are B

4) some A are ~B

i want to know the contradictory/ inverse statements for all of these to solve the questions with confidence! please help asap !!!

  1. Technically, in philosophy, sentence 1 and 4, and sentence 2 and 3 are contradictory.

    Sentence 1 and 2, and sentence 3 and 4 are called contraries.

    But if you're looking for inverses, i think you mean sentence 1, 2 and 3, 4; which are called "contraries".
