Sylvania LC 155sl8p Will not turn on. 15 in Initial turn on the back light comes on just enough

15 in Initial turn on the back light comes on just enough to see. When pressing the power button a 2nd time the back light blinks off for a moment and the it comes on again as before. Unplugginf unit is the only way tur turn it off. I have 2 units failing the same way.
