Symantec and Ad Aware?

Question

I just got Symantec installed on my laptop. Do i still need to run Ad Aware or does Symantec take care of everything Ad Aware was doing?

you should get another program spyware doctor is number 1 ad aware just removes what it says spyware doctor removes what adaware doesn't

it should take care of everything but just to be safe and for the extra security i would download spybot www.spybot.com

Symantec is good I use it whatever other people say. I also have adaware it usually just finds tracking cookies but it wont do any harm having it.

I have an anti-virus on my computer and I do still use Ad-Adware. My anti- virus which is NOD32 scans the computer but the Ad-Aware will scan for things that jump on through the internet downloads and attachments. You can also try Malwarebytes, this will scan for malware which is hard to remove from the computer. Good luck.
