Symbol with a lowercase M with a "tail" with an arrow at the end?

I want to know what this symbol represents. It's a lowercase "m" with a the right side of the M having a tail, pointing upwards, with an arrow at the end.

I remembered this symbol from a few years ago when I used to play the game Alchemy...though in some Googling of alchemy symbols I cannot find this symbol...what does it mean?
