Symbolic images for bella and edward in twilight.?

Question

For my summer reading project i have to come up with two symbolic images for the two main characters; Bella and Edward. I am completly stumped. anyone have any ideas.

note: i cann not use people to symbolize other people

for them as a couple you could use the forrbiden fruit but you can also use the lion and the lamb in eclipse edward was explaining to bella about vamp creations and he used the killer whale and the baby seal and the shark and the delicate angel fish me personally i would put bella as a little dove and edward as the strong eagle it makes sense..HOPE THAT HELPS!!!

You could use the cover of Twilight, the story from the Bible.  Adam (Edward) and the apple, forbidden fruit (Bella).
