Question:

Synastry help, please?

So I've just drawn a synastry chart wheel from Astrotheme.com. It's actually two wheels, one for one person and the second for the other, and one wheel being inside the other. You can switch them around. My question is; does the outer wheel person show how he/she affects the inner wheel person?

  1. I’m not sure I totally get your question. When you talk about outer and inner wheel, are you thinking that it makes a difference in how the charts are read? Because you will get the same aspects no matter who is on the outer wheel.

Synastry takes a look at how the two people, or group of people will interact with each other. It is not really how ‘this one’ effects ‘that one’. It is a mutual thing.

  2. Hi D

The outer world can be either person. The outer circle usually is the initiator, the action. The inner wheel will show the reaction to that action.

So, let's say the outer wheel has aspects applying to the inner planet, it shows that the action is starting to be felt by the planet in the inner wheel and thus, the inner planet will start to have a reaction by answering back.

If the outer planet 's aspect are separating, then the effect of the action is coming to a pass and the reation also.
