Syncing Ipod on Linux help? please?

I have a normal 2g ipod nano and I was wondering what program is good for adding music on you ipod, using Ubuntu

I have RythmBox and Banshee but I have no Idea how to use either of them.

My ipod shows up on Rythmbox and I can see/listen to all the music on it. but I add music to it.

And My Ipod doesnt even show up on Banshee

Please Help?
