Syncing songs onto an ipod?

hey! i got an ipod shuffle recently and i cant snyc any songs onto it! all the songs are in my itunes library on the computer but they wont go onto the ipod lyk they wud on my ipod nano! any help pleez??!

maybe its just because you dont have enough space on youre ipod

Firstly, we don't know how they went on your nano, secondlay we don't know what it is doing isntead.

Does it register in itunes when it is plugged in?  If so, just press the 'sync' button, remembering that you can't get anywhere near as many songs on a shuffle as you can a nano.
