  2. b- the combined energy of two is more the the energy of one e- kinda sounds right too

  3. None of the available choices really nails the definition on the head. It's when 2 things are combined and the effects are greater than then used alone. Kinda like in Heroes, like many of them possess one power, but some like Sylar and Peter Petrelli can get more than one power and become even stronger than the ones with just one power.

  4. My understanding was that synergy happened when the whole equalled more than the sum of it's parts.  So effectively  two things that when combined are greater than either would be alone.
