Question:

Synthetic horse shoes?

Has any one used the easy walker horse shoes or similar... i think these are an australian thing and not sure if they are done else where... but please if you have used them let me know your comments... and how they fitted and stayed to your horses hoofs (did your horse throw them much)

  1. I just asked my farrier about them and he advised me against them. He didn't think that they were any better than steel with a pad.They are glued and or clipped to the horses hooves. Your farrier will need a special tool to shod your horse with the easy walkers...

    I think they are advertised more for the owner state of mind rather than the horse. However if your horse has say nevicular/ founder it may be benifical with the gluing instead of nailing.
