Synthetic motor oils Mobil 1 or Amsoil?

I'm interested in switching to synthetic motor oil & wanted to know if anyone knows about Amsoil. I've heard it's good & checked out the website, but wanted to know if anyone has their own opinion of it to share. Thanks.
