Syrian hamster pregnant? 2 month old?

Question

i was taking care of my friend's hamsters and she told me they were both female

but one day the male came onto the female and the hamsters are about 2 months (a little less) by now

is it possible that the female may be pregnant?

[is she too young to be pregnant?]

actually I heard after 12 weeks that hamster can produce. So thats in the 2 month range. Also if she has pups (hamster newborns") get the other hamster out quick as they could reproduce as soon as 3 hours after the pregnacy. Also do not touch the pups at all when they are born just yahoo around here and find out when you can handle them.

I dont remeber if this is correct but i think its close to this timeline.

Did you separate the male from the female? If she is not pregnant she is going to get pregnant, so unless your friend wants babies, separate them,  and no she is not too young

Why did she have them together AT ALL? Syrian hamsters should be kept alone, they are too territorial to be kept together regardless of gender. Separate them now. If one was indeed male, the female is likely pregnant.
