System Administrator Problems!!?

hi,im having problems with my system administrator........i try to download something,and it says..... "You dont have the required privileges to continue the installation,Please have your system administrator (or some other user with higher privileges) install this software(Couldnt get write access to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Ste... key).....and then i even tried to download it while logged into administrator,but it says the same thing.......how do i fix this? im running a windows professional system.........PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Don't know for sure since I can't see your system, but try this:

While logged on as the administrator go to Control Panel/Administrator/System   and give open access to all users.  (I am assuming you are the only one that uses this, if not, then go back and change it after you have installed the program.
