System Restore On Microsoft

I recently did a Microsoft restore on my computer to retrieve files that i needed. Now when I try to install a game on my computer it fails to install! when i put the disk into the drive an install window dosent even appear. can system restore do your computer damage?

  1. System restore is never noted to cause harm to anyone's machine.

    What you should note is that, the date you restored your PC to, are you sure the drivers to that operation where not corrupted at that particular date, before performing system restore to the previous date, did you try performing any disk operation and it worked out for you.

    IF so, copy out the files you need into a removable object and restore your machine to another date. or perform undo restoration.

    If your machine came with drivers, Use google to search machine model brand site and download drivers for Drive operation.

    Note this, a virus can cause this, keep your antivirus and antispyware remover updated and scan machine throughly and regularly.


  2. No, they cannot harm your computer.

    It is more likely the disc you have is faulty, or your cd drive itself, try another disc and see if your computer reads it. if not your cd drive may be wrecked.

  3. I dont know but I do know that Microsoft is an overall f****d up company. Their OS Is just a mess! Spend more time making your core product, an OS instead of buying parts of social networking site <hint hint facebook>.
