System change message

i'm using windows vista home premium on a hp6030in.recently it keeps on alerting me about a system change.the msg. reads as follows...
a system change was made by a known application
change type: application execution
application: c:windowssystem32mswsock.dll
please tell me if this is harming in any way.if yes, then what is the remedy
