  1. There are some possibilities.

Your keyboard or mouse could be spoilt. You can check if this is the case by borrowing a set of functional mouse and keyboard from someone but I think this is unlikely.

Your hard disk could be damaged, or the connection from the motherboard to the hard disk could be loose. Try opening the computer and tighten the data cable connection to your hard disk.

But my best guess is that the internal battery in your computer has run out (every computer has an internal battery, even desktops).

  2. this may complicated.

    1. check the screen, is it some message on screen that is not usually seen?

    2. replace keyboard and try

    3. try to go into BIOS by hit DEL during POST. then set to default.

    4. open the case, press the clear CMOS button for 4 seconds.

    5. check if the CPU fan spinning

    6. if none of above work...time to change a new PC.

  3. any error message

    reseat the RAM

  4. Not  a big problem

your RAM is not plugged in properly or not seating properly in the socket

Just remove and insert it once again, it will work fine otherwise change the RAM after verifying that it is faulty in another working desktop.
