  1. I concur with the remote holder.

You will not be disappointed with Def Tech speakers. Your whole system looks like it will satisfy quite nicely.

I have been a supporter of Def Tech for a long time. They are really hard to beat. They give you a lot of performance at a good price.

Your whole system is about as good as your going to get for what you are paying. You might be able to get a better receiver for the same price. But you'll be hard pressed to beat the speakers.

Yep, I like parts express too. It is a good way to cap everything off with all the small items like speaker cables and interconnects.

I use the analog radio shack SPL meter it works quite nice. All of the other items listed above will really help fine tune your listening and viewing experience. If you can't or don't want to spend the money on those extra items. Put in a Lucas film movie like Star Wars. It has a pretty decent little audio and video set up tool included in the menus.

  2. Those are all good products. Are you asking for alternatives or additional things?

    A few add ons:

    - Harmony Logitech remote

    - Good, inexpensive 12 ga speaker wire from PartsExpress

    - Radio Shack SPL meter and "Video Essentials" to calibrate speakers and the display
