Arsenal’s goal keeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998 has gone on to admit that he has started to get frustrated with the fact that the Gunners didn’t win any trophies in the current Premier League season.
The shot stopper has gone on to make himself the Gunners first choice keeper this season, but despite the fact that he has made his way up the pecking order, he is still frustrated with the team’s lack of trophies.
When talking about the trophies situation at the club, the twenty two year old is quoted to have said: "I would've been more satisfied if we had won any trophies"
"My goal at the beginning of the season was to win trophies for this club and I haven't won any, so that's always a big disappointment.”
"But it's my first full season in professional football, I'm enjoying it, and I think I've been quite consistent considering my age."
The keeper then went on to admit that he had matured quite a bit this current season and was happy with the way he was developing as a player.
One of the factors of his game that he noticed that had changed, was the fact that he could now focus for the ninety minutes that he spent on the pitch, which was previously a problems for him.
Szczesny then went on to add: "I believe I have improved, I've matured a lot in goal, I keep my focus for 90 minutes - which wasn't always the case in my early days.”
The young keeper has gone on to answer just about all the problems the North London club had in their goal over the last couple of seasons.
However, with him and the other young players now desperate to win trophies, the Gunners could potentially go on and mend their ways, as they look to mount challenges for a number of titles this coming season.
Nonetheless, it is going to be up to Arsene Wenger to go on and make some tactical moves in the summer transfer window, as he looks to get rid of the excess baggage and bring in some new talent, which could help the team lift some trophies.
