  1. The size depends on how the restaurant carves it.  I like the KC Strip which is a large bone-in New York that is tastier.  The T-bone is nice but I have noticed that most restaurants carve it thinner.  I presume it is because of all the bones it is harder to cook.  I do know that it is harder to have a uniform of doneness (often rare near the bone).

  2. one of each please!

  3. I prefer the Kansas City Strip but T bone is probably larger!

  4. T bone is obviously larger as it includes 2 cuts of meat w the bone. Myself I dont like the filet side of the tbone - not enough flavor - so I go for strip.

  5. The T-bone has a strip steak (the larger piece) on one side of the bone, and filet mignon on the other side (the smaller piece). So, part of the T-bone is actually a strip steak.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Depends on the cutting.  Both can be thin and or small if cut from an end.  Remember:  The closer to the bone, the sweeter the meat!

So, it has to be a T-bone.

  7. T-bone is typically bigger, but if you're looking for the biggest, best steak, I suggest a porterhouse.

  8. chicken
