T Flash card same as Micro SD card?

i have a card reader that has a T flash slot can I use the Micro SD card in this slot or will it not work?

  1. SanDisk introduced the T-Flash, aka Trans flash, which is meant to be used with cellphones. The new format is just 11mm by 15mm, or half the size of a SIM card (i.e. easily lost), and comes in in 32MB, 64MB, and 128MB varieties. Motorola is the first cellphone manufacturer to get behind T-Flash, and conveniently, the cards will work in an SD card slot with the proper adapter. So, you can use your card, with the adapter

    Micro SD can be used anywhere that TransFlash is required. The opposite is usually true, but there are a few exceptional uses where Micro SD is required.

    A pretty good and brief explanation exists on Wikipedia (link provided below). But ti save you going and looking, it basically says "TransFlash and microSD cards are the same (each can be used in devices made for the other), except that microSD adds support for SDIO mode, enabling non-memory cards like Bluetooth, GPS, and Near Field Communication devices.[2]"
