  1. ITs not a hoax at all! I took a corse on it for my horse im 15 i think i know what works lol

IT involves breathing into what yor doing paying strict attentin to what your doin on the horse, small slow circles usually around the ears on the horse helps but all horses are different .

  2. There is a book and DVD's and other media instruction available so you can purchase it on the Linda Tellington-Jones site or many others.  You can get the book anywhere.  It is a system of touch with your horse and I'm not overly fond.  I won't say it is not of any value.  Horses are endorphin driven animals and many techniques can release endorphins and induce relaxation.  If your horse is tolerant and your become proficient, it certainly would not be harmful.  Check it out.

  3. Sorry but my opinion is that it is a complete hoax.  Pet your horses and handle them but do not look for a 'magic wand'.  There isn't one!  The proponents of T-touch are just trying to get you to spend money on their training systems and aids.

Stay away from these new age fads.  It always amazes me when someone buys into the idea of a new training method that is supposed to work miracles.  The fact is that people used to spend a lot more time with their horses than they do now.  In fact people used to depend on their horses much more than we do today.  They also had more time on their hands.  If those people didn't already come up with the idea then it isn't an idea worth trying.  That is the simple truth.  They developed their training techniques over hundreds of years.  Modern society almost lost those techniques.  They just started to come back into common public (at least the equestrian public) knowledge when all these new age fads started and began messing with horses heads.  I have seen too many horses almost ruined because of them.

My simple advice, when it comes to horse training and someone says new technique...STEER CLEAR!

  4. T-Touch was developed by Linda Tellington-Jones.  She has DVDs and videos available from different outlets and  she has a website where you could purchase them - www.lindatellingtonjones.com.

Linda also has a segment on RFD-TV that exemplifies her system and she does expos around the states as well.

Look on the net and see if you can find her website, then ask her there who in your local area would be able to help you learn the techniques properly.

    Good luck!

  5. I recommend getting the original book by Linda Tellington-Jones - it is very thorough and has a TON of photos and explanations.  I think it can be very useful, though I do think the part about "reading" a horse's intelligence and manner through their facial features is a little weird.

  6. what is a t-touch...well it sound bad so dont do it...

  7. T-touch is awsome! i use it on the school horse that i ride, and almost as soon as I do it, she calms right down!

Basicaly all you have to do is use your 3 middle fingers, and move it in slow circular movements on the horses face, back, neck, legs, and any other part of the body.

To explain it better, here's a link that shows you how to do it, and how it helps

  8. Never heard of this but from the answers i read i think i understand what it is...Now why would someone need a book to lean to touch their horse.  I touch mine everywhere, i also give them messages.  You should be able to work with every part of the horse, touch them where where, it helps with bonding with them.  I know it really works on my Arab baby, i think he gets to relaxed and wants to lay down, i have to hold him up LOL...Ok heck now i have to get the book to see what this is.

  9. T-Touch does sound amazing.  I don't know the intricacies of it either I'm afraid.  I know it's like small, half circular motions.  But what areas of the body correspond to what, I don't know.  I would love to take it further too.  I don't have horses, but my dogs all enjoy my 'attempts' at it, and go into a very deeply relaxed state when I give them little 'suedo-TT' massages! lol
