Our 13' Audiovox AVT-1498 looses it's picture after it is on for about 5-10 minutes. We get a gray strip through the middle of the screen, but the sound is fine. We are assuming something is overheating. It is $200-$300 to replace. We already bought 2 portable DVD players for our two young sons, but we can not connect the PS2 to those. We were also looking into satelite television, because we regularly have a 10 hour drive to Grandma's house. Was there a recall we do not know about? Can we just replace a less expensive part?
