Daren Ganga, the skipper of the West Indian domestic side Trinidad and Tobago, has vowed that his side will display an excellent show in the qualifiers and will do their best to make it to the main round of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament.
The initial round of the CLT20 will commence with a high voltage clash between Ruhuna and Trinidad & Tobago at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leicestershire-c807 County on

While only three sides from the qualifying round will step into http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-George-Burrows-c93472he main round, the T&T team will have to come up with something special in an attempt to storm into the final round of the much-anticipated tournament.
Ganga is optimistic that his troop will perform outstandingly despite conceding that it will be a tough battle against the top Twenty20 sides of the world.
"As T20 cricket goes, it is very difficult for us to predict results before we play. Sometimes our best efforts are not good enough for the opposition. What I could say is that we have worked very hard as a team to prepare. We firmly believe that we will
play good cricket," said the 32-year-old skipper.
Ganga and company made its way to CLT20 following their emphatic victory in the Caribbean T20 tournament. In the finale of the championship, played at Barbados on January 23, 2011, the side thrashed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hampshire-c789 by a handsome margin of 36 runs.
The skipper described that the players are desperate to perform well in the big tournament, as their confidence is on a high after clinching the domestic competition.
"I think they are all just anxious to get to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, and get down to business. We have quality players and once they play intelligent cricket, I see no reason us not doing very well in the tournament,” added the classy Caribbean batsman who has served his
country in 35 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 48 Tests.
