T intersection accident?

Ok I was involved in an accident the other day where i came to a highway wanting to turn right from the street i was in.

The car coming towards me from the right indicated to turn left down the street i was in and slowed so i pulled out as there was no cars coming from the left heading right down the highway. As I have pulled into my lane on the highway the car behind the 1st turning car has decided to overtake them by going on the opposite side of the road (AKA My lane) and we pretty much had a head on collision. This was apparently my fault as i was at a giveway sign, yet i never thought I would be giving way to traffic going down the wrong side of the road...

Any views on the matter?

Crazy drivers that is why you never assume anything........

That almost happened to me one time. I got to where I always look both ways whether I'm turning right or left because their are too many nuts on the highway.
