T-mac or Carmelo to detroit?

I'd rather have Carmello as a Pistons fan.  He's got some life left in his career.  He has had some off the court problems but those don't worry me as much as T-Mac's on  the court back problems.  T-Mac is a past his prime scorer who has never won a playoff series.  I think Carmello in Detroit starts playing defense and gives the Pistons the offensive presence that they need to be champions again.  It will give him a chance to get out of Denver and start over.  He can rehab his image and help Detroit get back to the finals.  

T-Mac could be successful, but the first time he misses games due to injury there will be a lot of second guessing.

Tmac to detroit. there is no way the nuggets can afford losing carmelo or else there would be no point in playing the season for the nuggets in a bad way.

nope, billups and prince can way do more that T-mac or Carmelo...and yup, Okafor will be very much needed at 5. detroit has no legit center right now and that is hole to big to fill in.

Carmelo. We need another big man it would be good to put Sheed at center and have Carmelo at forward.

detroit feels its system has defense built into it. its main lack past years is offense. so carmelo would help them. pistons then would look to develop other players to get back contributions of billups and especially prince on defense.

nuggets seem to be exact opposite. they are offensive minded with lack of defense. they retain iverson and prince is a big help, plus billups distributing the ball and shooting 3s.

it seems like a good trade for both teams. carmelo and coach karl have problems with each other so this may push thru.

ditto with rockets who could sacrifice t mac for prince and billups.
