Question:

T20 v ODI comparison?

If I can make a prediction it seems logical that a great tournament and a great final like this will prompt a lot of comparisons with ODIs and it's possible that the dominance that ODI previously enjoyed will be eroded by the much more exciting 20/20 cricket. Over time I think less ODIs will be played in favour of 20/20s and the format of ODI WC could be re-structured to reduce the length of that tournament.

  1. I agree with everything you said.

T20 cricket has had such a large impact on cricket. It's going to become the most played form of cricket but saying that the other forms aren't going to disapear. T20 cricket isn't time consuming, ODI and test match cricket are very time consuming and in our hectic lives i don't think anyone has time to watch a whole Test match.

I don't know where cricket is going but i do know that we aren't going to lose any form of cricket to the T20 form of the game.

  2. both r good i think oddis are a bit tntion

  3. I don't think the traditionalists are just going to cave into Micky Mouse cricket & I hope your predictions don't come true. 20/20 may be popular with people who have a short attention span, but true cricket lovers will never accept it as the be all & end all of the game.

  4. I hope not, 20 overs isnt enough for me and alot of it just comes down to sloging, not really cricket strokes.

Double header 20/20s could be OK.

  5. Definetly a 50 over match has a  well balanced chemistry in it than a 20 over match !!!!

  6. 20-20 future of cricket.

  7. You got it right ODI's will make way for T20 and the future of cricket is T20.

T20 is made cricketer bigger and better.

  8. Both re good and healthy formof cricket what else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. 20/20 will earn more money than ODI
