They offered Perro Aguayo jr a deal but he shot them down. I understand they want to rebuild their hispanic fanbase but whats the point of signing top lucha stars if they will be forced to ride around on lawn mowers and talk spanglish?

  1. I would rather these top lucha stars sign for TNA than the WWE. In all honesty, these days it seems like the WWE would rather use a bodybuilder with no wrestling talent what so ever better than a top lucha star who can turn the crowd on.

They did sign another body builder the other day, so yes, Vince does still believe in "be big and I'll make you bigger".

To be honest, as you and Donovan T pointed out, it's all about rebuilding their hispanic fanbase. They did the same with Khali being in main events recently. All to extend their fanbase around the world.

You only have to look at the 6 man tag team match from ECW two weeks ago to see how well Super Crazy turned the fans on with his excellent performance. Fans chanted "ECW" again...

  2. Hijo de Perro Aguayo is THE top rudo of all of Mexico and would be a great addition to the company BUT with people like Michael Hayes in WWE you know they would try to make him into the next Cheech & Chong character.

  3. They Plan On Using More Hispanic Talent For They're SmackDown Brand. I Wanna See Sicodelico Jr In The WWE. I Think They Are Gonna Sign Him.

  4. I don't know the whole reason, either.

Besides diversifying the crowd and touching a different type of fanbase, I see no other reason why they would try to sign top Mexican wrestlers. I don't want to see good wrestlers turn into a stereotypical character and be forced to job to every big man in the company already.
