NEVER HAD A DOG ??

1) depending on his age ask your vet and read some labels.  Puppies grow fast and are forming bones and such and need more nutrition than an older settled dog.  I cook my own dog food with baked (boned) chicken, mixed veggies, oats, wild rice, broth, supplements. This way I know exactly what he gets and I know it doesn&#039;t a lot of chemicals.

2)Toys are what he like to play with. Take him to PetSmart and let him shop. I have one dog that loves balls and another that like stuffed animals. I take them to garage sales and let them pick what they want.

3)Some dogs will go into the kitchen sink or the bathtub some you can do in the back yard with the water hose (depending on the weather. And be sure you rinse out the sink and tub with some bleach water to sanitize.

4) DO NOT use people shampoo because it is much to harsh. Even baby shampoo is too harsh on their skin. Get dog shampoo at the vets, or horse shampoo at the feed and grain store.(horses have very sensitive skin and need a gentle shampoo)

5)No conditioner is needed unless he has extremely sensitive or dry skin. And in most cases a change in diet is best.

6)  Be sure your guy gets to go outside often (puppies every hour) so they don&#039;t get used to peeing in the house.  You can deordorize with a commercial product from the pet store.

7) Check out any local store, PetSmart and PetCo and other smaller stores.  Check on line and I buy stuff on eBay.

8) A doggie bed is what ever he considers comfee.  I like my guy on the foot of my bed so I can use them as feet warmers

9) Don&#039;t understand that question about taking care

10)give him discipline, food shelter and love. Stay calm and no yelling and gentle training.

I would suggest that you go to a pet store and ask to buy a basic pet care book.  This will answer most of your questions.  The pet store, such as Pet Smart, also offers classes for new pet owners and you might want to look into one of those.  From what I have heard about the breed Jack Russell Terriers, they can be a handful.  Good luck!

If you don&#039;t know the answers to these questions why do you have a dog? Maybe you should have researched more on dogs BEFORE you decided to get one.

You can give your dog any kind of dog food (preferably vet recommended instead of the shop brands) or you can even cook for your dog but check up on that first. Make sure of what she can and cannot eat and make sure how much of each kind of food she needs etc. I don&#039;t recommend you cook for your dog though because you obviously don&#039;t know enough.

You can give your dog a bath in your tub or hose him down in the yard. If your dog is afraid of a hose or douche, use buckets of water on him instead.

You can use a dog shampoo or you can just use baby shampoo (which is what I use). However don&#039;t bathe your dog too often because that gets rid of most of the minerals and oils on their skin and fur. So no more than once every two weeks.

Dogs don&#039;t need conditioner.

I don&#039;t know about pee stains, I don&#039;t have to worry about that because I don&#039;t have carpets and my dog is house trained.

You can get things for your dog from Petsmart or the vet.

Anything comfortable would do for a dogs bed. You could just put down a large pillow for your dog. Or you could just buy him a dog bed from Petsmart.

To take care of your dog you could feed him at least twice a day. Make sure his water bowl is never empty. Brush him daily. Play with him. Exercise him (walk him daily). Make sure he is healthy by taking him to the vet. Don&#039;t keep him outside for too long. Love him.

Well there are many different pet foods that are good for dogs, it just depends on what he likes. There are also many different toys that are safe and fun. Petsmart is the best place to go for all of your pet needs. They have toys, shampoos, conditioners, stain removers and more. If you don&#039;t know what you are doing then why did you get a jack russell terrier.  Terriers are very energetic dogs and probably not the best choice for a first time pet parent.  You need to get a book on that specific breed which both PetSmart and Petco have.

i have a jack russel their the cutesttt!!! you have to go to pet mart or petco and they will tell what all the best things for him. you dont have to use conditioner just shampoo. Just go outside and use a hose or put him in a sink or in a bath and water shampoo water dry done!! i just bought a doggie bed but my jack russel (lola) likes sleeping on the coach or pillows. AND take him with you to petmart so he can pick out his own toys =]
