Ok, so this is what happened, after I stupidly signed up for Talent6, I dug into research and realized that there were many complaints (basically saying how it's a scam). However, I have no reason to call it a scam, but I just want to be safe and get my refund.
I called my credit card company and they said that they could not technically avoid any charges, however, I am able to wait 10 days after they charge it on my credit card for my refund, and if they do not send a refund, then the bank will help me out.
So then I called Talent6 to cancel my membership, and they did, but I was not able to get a refund until after November 25th IF I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CASTING CALL. Minutes later I believe I received a casting call, but did not pick up, so I'm really not sure if it is a casting call or not.
I am very paranoid even though they said that they will not charge me any further... I have no reason to complain yet, so am I screwed in this situation and lost a bunch of money??? ($45 + $2) ??
What should I do in this situation? Many people have told me to file complaints and stuff, but I don't think "they didn't offer me a refund" is a valid reason since they already told me they don't offer refunds if I have already received a call.
