  1. For starters, make sure you have plastic applicators. They go in SO much easier. Really, after that, it's just getting used to it. It's different to your body so it will take a while to get used to. You can also look at the instructions in the package or even on the tampax website or something if you need more help.

  2. Go to the drug store and but a starter box of Tampax.  Read the instructions that are included.  It might take a  few attempts before you succeed. Do not buy superplus size!! You ill never get it in.  Plastic applicators are much easier to insert than cardboard.  If you insert it and suddenly have to pee, pull it out as you've inserted it in your bladder.  My suggestion that for the first time you insert it lying on a flat surface.  Best of luck

  3. put it in and pull the string :P

  4. well ok the thing is if you have still a virgin yes it is going to hurt but look what you could do is like squat down and open your legs and take a deep breath a put  it in slow.. that's really all i can tell you hope this helped some how?

  5. Ask a woman you trust to show you, it is harder to explain without a demonstration, words can easily be misunderstood..

  6. ASK YOUR MOTHER!!!!!!

  7. You should get a brand that has the instructions on the package. Or, you could just Google it. I can't really tell you because I'm younger than you and use a pad. Sorry!

( The people who told you to ask your mother obviously don't know that your supposed to put your ANSWERS here. I understand you. *pats back* )

  8. Ask your mom, lol.

I got mine when i just turned 13.

and i didn't start wearing them until i was almost 14.

my mom actually came into the bathroom and showed me how to insert them and actually helped me a little :)

yeah i know it would be awkward but hey! SHES YOUR MOM and she's there for stuff like this!!

if your to scared to ask your mom there is instructions inside a tampon box.

    (tampax pearls the best) size:regular

  9. </3 Lynnie™

haha thats isnt you in the picture. Thats a girl i know from school. Her name is Carra. lololololol.

  10. the most important thing about a tampon is to relax when you insert them....Then you have to find a spot where you are comfortable. The first few time i put one in i stood up and had one foot on the toilet. aim for your spine. they aren't supposed to go straight up...then if it hurts to much try a smaller size. I know playtex make a slim glide on for pre-teens. and only start off with the regular not the super or super plus.those will hurt more. And if there is any problems ask your mom for help. and all tampon packs come with dummy proof instrutions.

  11. ask ur mom to help  if u have one

  12. I would ask your Mom to help you with this one. There are so many different types of tampons on the market that she can help you choose the one right for you. It might take while to find the right one so be patient. I would use one that is not super absorbent and is free of dyes and perfumes. The boxes come with instructions and it just takes patience and practice. Good Luck to you, just do not forget to change your tampon every 2-4 hours and do not leave it in over night, use a pad.

  13. well just read the directions on the paper inside the box and it should help you and dont be all tense just relax

  14. First, check your box of tampons for instructions. Lots of brands provide an insert with reasonably detailed instructions and some simple illustrations. Also, try buying tampons with applicators (plastic are the easiest for beginners) - that should help. You may consider buying slim tampons or light flow tampons.

For learning, try elevating one leg (put your foot on the bath tub or even the toilet) and hold the tampon in your dominant hand. Hold the end (the end with the string!) between your thumb and middle finger. Push the tampon & applicator in at a slightly upward angle until your fingers touch your body. Use your pointer finger to push (almost slide) the tampon inside you. Pull out just the applicator and careful not to pull on the string until you're ready to remove the tampon!

Once you're used to using them, you don't have to raise your leg, just sort of squat a little in your knees and it'll be easy enough.

For me, inserting the tampon wasn't too bad. I had more troubles removing the tampon. Just pull gently, at an angle (don't pull straight out or straight down), and make sure you have the tampon in for a while (pulling out a dry one sucks), but not too long (or you can risk getting sick!).

    A few more tampon tips...

    * only use the absorbency that you need for that time (ie, don't use super tampons on a light day)

    * don't ever leave a tampon in for longer than 7 or 8 hours

    * they're great for water sports or just general physical activity

    * you shouldn't be able to feel it - if you do, it isn't in properly (maybe just not in all the way)

They're great once you're used to them - easy to change, cleaner than pads, and you can't even feel them! Good luck and know that it only gets easier! Don't be discouraged! If you keep having troubles or it always hurt, ask a doctor. It can be a little embarrassing to talk about, but in the end it's really nothing to be ashamed of, it's worth it, and you can ask for a female doctor if a male doctor is too uncomfortable.

  15. Before you start make sure you wash your hands.   Be in a relaxed position.  Raise your leg and separate yourself. When you insert the tampon, push the tampon towards the back direction.  Don't put it straight up. Insert the tampon deep enough so that you don't feel it.  Make sure its deep enough.  If it hurts, try again because you did it wrong.  It is probably going to take you a couple of trys, but you will get it. Keep a tampon on only for hours or so to prevent this disease called toxic shock syndrome..... It occurs very rare but deadly..!! I hope this information was helpful.  Believe me, once you get use to it, it will be a piece of cake.  Good Luck!
