im TERRIFIED im 85% sure that i put in a tampon yesterday morning. then yesterday a few hours after that i went to take it out and there was NOTHING THERE. and i remember when i put it in, i gave it an extra shove after it came out of the applicator cuz it didnt seem far up enough. and im sooo scared because i cant get it out and yesterday and today ive been in every single squatting/layingdown/standing up position with my fingers shoved up myself trying to get it out. if there is even one in there... and i feel SOMETHING at the top of my v****a but i dont know if its just part of my body. its kind of roundish but its too hard to feel whether its a tampon texture or a ... v****a texture. i cant grab it though. and if there really isnt anything in there, i must be scraping up my v****a pretty bad. im sooo scared. and i dont have time to go to the doctors until saturday because im going on a family trip.

PLEASE HELP only if you actually know something. i dont want TSS im so scared im like crying

  1. OH ****!!! GET IT OUTTA THERE!!

  2. If you do have that tampon stuck inside of you, then you need to go to the doctor asap. don;t wait around another day to see what is going to happen. that is a very serious situation. that you have. you cannot walk around everyday feeling like that you need to tell your mom and have her take you, don't worry you will be fine.

  3. While it uncommon to shove a tampon into your uterus, which is where it would be now if it's not in your v****a, it's possible.  To be safe call your doctor and ask for an immediate appointment, that or you have to go to the ER.  You wouldn't be the first for this and certainly not the last, so don't be embarressed, just go in and get it out.  Better to be safe than sorry.

  4. omg thats scary..maybe it came out while u were sleeping? check ur bed and stuff or maybe u didnt put it in..

    tell ur mother or someone!!

    or keep squatting

and push like ur taking a dump lol it works and it pushes the tampon out

  5. oyy . that's scary . i just started using tampons . but anyway , it's not gona go in super deep . DO do something about it right away . it's been there long enough . i would've told everybody by now soo i can do something asap .

  6. Tell this situation to your mother. She will help you sure.

  7. Just relax. I know you are freaking out but check out this website. They have some good advice and a thorough method for retrieval.

  8. I know the situation sucks... I have been in really bad spots with tampons before haha. But this is very serious! You must tell your mom immediately and get to an ER.

  9. Find the time to go to the hospital emergency and have someone check you out.  If it's in there you need to get it out, or else you risk infection.

Leaving it there, and being scared isn't going to make your life any easier and you will be a basket case on your trip.

    Take Care

  10. Rest assure, its not lost you will get it out, my advice I have lost one up there before too...Sit on the toilet and bear down like your going #2 try to feel any kind of foreign material or movable substace. usually the string will be there you just got to be patient and dont get discouraged.

  11. You really don't have a choice you HAVE to go to the doctor if you can't get it out yourself.

  12. Firstly, a tampon CANNOT go up into your uterus. It would have to pass through your cervix first, and since the cervix has a pinpoint opening (unless you are dilating to push a baby out), I highly doubt it would find its way up there.

Secondly, do what the other people are suggesting and bear down as if you are doing a big sh*t or pushing a baby out. Put your legs up on something to help.

Reach in with a finger and 'sweep' along the top of your v****a. You should be able to feel the opening of your cervix- its small and hard.

Bear down whilst your finger is in there if you need to.

You may need to put a second finger up there to help you get the tampon out.

Have a few goes. Just relax, take a few deep breaths.

  13. Ask your mom to help, or go to the er they can get it out with out surgery, just relax and bare down like you need to pee and it should come out if there is anything up there. You need to go to the ER if you cant see your doctor in time tell your mom right now!

  14. You need to go to the emergency room.  Right away.

Emergency room staff have seen EVERYTHING.  My freshman year in college my roommate had s*x with a tampon in and had to have it removed in the ER.  They were not at all surprised, it happens all the time, but it was important that she came only a couple of hours after it happened.

Having a tampon in for 4 days can lead to serious infections as well as TSS.

You tell your mom/dad right now what is going on.  You can go to an emergency room anywhere and this is not worth risking your health over.

  15. First, relax.  Second you need to talk to your mom or a close family member so that you can get some help.  How old are you?  If you have a boyfriend, perhaps let him look for you.  It's worth a shot.  You need to get this taken care of though cause this isnt' something that is going to go away...
