TAMPONS!!Ladies only!?

Question

Okay so.... It's my first time almost getting the tampon in all the way, and there is only a bit of it sticking out so I was proud of myself until I tried taking it out.

OUCH! It hurt sooo bad. I was freaking out and my mom wasn't helping. She just kept telling me to take it out, but she doesn't understand that it hurts and I dare not irritate that area.

I can't sit down because that is painful too, and I feel it because it is not in all the way.

I only put it in about 10 minutes ago, so I was thinking maybe it was just really dry.

Could I have put it some where wrong?

Will it come out no matter where it is?

Oh... I just started my period today, and they say I shouldn't wear a tampon on the first day...

Try pads for a while, tampons are best for older teens. And to note tampons should not hurt, my guess is its in wrong, or is the wrong size, or both. Take it out

u probably put in the right place but it may cause irritation when u pull out and it hasn't fully absorbed everything. usually when i don't get it all the way in i just push it in with my finger

it sounds like you didnt have it in far enough...  next time make sure its in so far you can't feel it.  and it probably hurt really bad because it wasnt full enough when you tried to take it out... so it was all dry and scraping against your... ya know... down there.  so make sure to leave it in until it's full then it wont hurt and it'll just slide out.

you need to take it out its not in correctly... I know it hurts because i did the same thing... but you have to just take a beep breath then cough at the same time u cough pull out the tampon... idk why but coughing helps.... it helped me.... don't try putting a tampon in until your period gets heavier so that the tampon is easier to put in and take out.
