TARGET SHOPPERS HELP!?!

Question

target says the chair i bought ships within 24 hours, but on the invoice it said should arive on the 19th....whats the deal with that! i need it in time for college so i bought it because it says it ships the soonest!!

has anyone ever ordered something and got it sooner than expected?

it means that the chair will leave the warehouse in 24 hours. . . if you are desperate for the chair you can buy it again with faster shipping and return the other one. . . p.s. this time have them ship it to the store

Sorry - bad news - the store will go by what you have in writing.

It is wrong of them to have verbally told you otherwise - but that is what they will go by the written advice given by their staff.

I found that most businesses may state they'll ship anything within 24 hours, only to find that only meant it will leave their warehouse within 24 hours TO BE SHIPPED. If it's shipped via UPS or FedEx or US Mail, there is probably going to be additional shipping time added, which is not under the business' control. Target should have provided some sort of tracking number you can use on the Shipper's website, to see how long it will take. So, if they said it should arrive on the 19th, that is the day you will get it. I have even paid extra for "overnight" shipping, I have yet to receive anything within 48 hours of buying it online (that is only based on the places I HAVE purchased from. I am sure there are some exceptions).

it might ship in 24 hours but not arrive until the 19th so that gives them plenty of time to get it to you. Just a thought but i could be wrong.

It says "ships within 24 hours" that means theyl send it in the next 24 hours no u will get it in 24 hours
