i have a simple trible tat the is located on my forarm and i want it to chain (climb/continue) up my arm. i think the only way it can be done is if its done free hand. if i go to a great tat artist can he be able to do it. i am having trouble seeing it in my head but i was wondering could he help me picture it. i am asking here before i go to talk with a artist because i dont want to sound like a moron. i got my first tattoo(this one) kinda quick and i want to finish it and make it more of a full arm tat(lower wrist and had is free so i can where dress shirts). has any one ever got a free hand tat like this or do they not even do free hand any more. thank you for all your help.

  1. yeah what the artist will do is either take a pic and draw from that or take a sharpie and draw on you free hand to work up a design.

    it depends on the artist.

they can also tidy up the 1st one if you want the colors redone or want it to look new"er" to match the new part you are adding.

i have know people who have had free hand tattoos. if the artist is high quality and knows their stuff they turn out reallllly well.

best of luck. send me a pick when it's all done!

  2. see you at my laser removal clinic in afew years, wanna make an appointment now?

  3. It depends where you go. Some do free hand and some would rather not. You can go to a tattoo shop and ask around. Also ask what their ideas would be and maybe they can help you get an idea for the design.
