i orderd my horses record from the Jocky club, and after a week of waiting... it came!

btw, his name is Hello Boss, and he was foaled May 7, 1989.

i have a few questions about it, one, does anyone have information on Late Act, Dearly Chosen, Stage Door Johnny Dunce Cap II, Ramsinga, or Miz Mazie? (these are close lines)

Also, Does anyone have information on Galloping Acres Farm in MA?

and finally, why do you think they raced him as a four year old. He had two starts in '93 and won $100! haha..

  1. Try http://www.pedigreequery.com/ simply type the horses name in and get their bloodlines. Most horses have extra information (such as races won, where they are now and so on, some include pictures) listed on there as well.

No clue on Galloping Acres, sorry!

  2. Yay!

Isn't it exciting when that comes!

  3. Late Act is the Father of Hello Boss.  He was born in 1979 and raced in the early 1980's.  He had career earnings of $661,089 with a record of 9 wins, 7 seconds and 4 thirds in 38 starts.  He was a multiple graded stakes winner, winning the Louisiana Handicap twice, the Queen's County Handicap and the Cliff Hanger Stakes (all Grade 3 stakes).

Stage Door Johnny was Late Act's father and Hello Boss's fraternal grandfather.  He was born in 1965 and was the champion 3 year old of 1968 winning the Belmont Stakes and the Saranac and Dwyer Handicaps.  In eight starts the won 5 times and finished second twice with one third place finish while earning $223,965.  He became an very important stamina influence as a stallion.

Dunce Cap II was Late Act's mother and Hello Boss's fraternal grandmother.  Even though she was bred in Kentucky (born in 1960), Dunce Cap raced in England on was a group 3 winner there.  She won three of ten starts and earning approx. $18,000 when converted to US dollars.  She returned to the US in 1965 and became a nice broodmare.  She was named Broodmare of the year posthumously in 1985 after passing away in 1982.

Dearly Chosen was Hello Boss's mother.  As far as I could find out she was unraced and was born in 1981.

Ramsinga was Dearly Chosen's father and Hello Boss's maternal grandfather.  Bred in France and born in 1954, Ramsinga raced in both France and the US.  In 25 starts he won 6, placed 4 times and finished third twice, earning a converted US total of about $75,000.  He won a stakes race in France and placed in two others there.

Miz Mazie is Dearly Chosen's mother and Hello Boss's maternal grandmother.  Born in the USA in 1973 she too was unraced as far as I know.

Could not find any information on Galloping Acres farm.
