some of the future freshmens requested me on myspace and on facebook and some of them look like they are ten or eleven years old... not even started puberty I am serious! I am short so that makes me look younger about 14 but I'm really 16... but some of these kids look about 4'8ish in their pictures with chubby faces and big teeth trying to look older. 1. oh my gosh, I was thinking this same thing. I am a senior in high school and the freshmans are extremely small. I was never that short as a freshman. What is in the water?

  2. Where I am at, I would say it is all you.  Students are not getting smaller.  If anything, they are bigger, especially in girth.  Fast food has not been kind to this generation's youth.

  3. When you were a freshman, the upperclassmen were thinking the exact same thing. :]

  4. I would have to say that it is probably just you.  Like one of the earlier responses said, when you were a freshman, the juniors and seniors were thinking the exact same thing.

  5. It's you... over 30 years ago in high school we had the same small kids.  The only difference I see is that they were thinner then.

  6. All the studies say that kids are maturing earlier, are taller and heavier, and are hitting puberty earlier than they were a while ago.  I think you have forgotten how young your own friends looked a couple of years ago!
