i'm a freshman in highschool.

my favorite teacher is going to transfer to other school.

so i wrote a letter to her. it said ' if there's one thing i've wanted to tell you for the past months, it's i love you'

is it weird? i'm a girl by the way.

why i wrote that down is because i've been avoiding her for 3 months and she knows it too. i just didn't want to bother her but 3days ago she told me she wanted me to say good bye to her

so yeah... i bought some present for her too.

if you want to read my letter, please email me .

  1. My mom is a teacher and she gets told that from students all the time (both face to face and in letters).  I think that first, since you are both the same s*x that is a good thing, also, if you have as good of a relationship to this teacher as it seems, then there should be no problem.  Just make sure that in the letter you explain that what you mean by it is that they are very important to you, they are a great teacher, a person you strive to be like, etc...There are many different meanings for the phrase "I Love You" and I think that if you truely care deeply for this teacher, it is definately okay to let her know how much she means to her.  You never know, it might just make her day!

  2. If you say, I love you ,  also, iclude thank you for being so nice, kind, caring and a good teacher.

I wish all teachers were more like you.

    ***Then it won't be weird.

  3. She might take that the wrong way. Better not, even if you do.

  4. This is just wierd.....students don't love teachers!@!

  5. it's not weird if you really love her. it would be taboo if you guys started a relationship though. but as far as revealing your feelings, it is far from weird. we are humans with emotions after all..

but if you don't love her in that way then it might have been too strong of a word.

  6. yeaah ,

istead of saying i love you .

    just say ,

    i'll REALLY miss youu .

it would sound more professional .

    and not akward.

  7. yes very wierd

  8. Depends how it is said if you say it as in I loooooooooove you or if it said as in I admire and love and appriciate you and all that you have taught me.

The first one.....well you cant say that you love love them - I mean what are you expecting a relationship??!!!!

The second one thats fine you are thanking them in your own words for the great teaching relationship you have had and valued.

It is all in the wording - perhaps get another adult, who you trust, to read it through first if you are unsure.

Be sure to say a proper goodbye to her as it is important for you to know you said goodbye and thank you. She clearly wants to part well and knows it is hard for you and so she is helping you by saying she wants to say goodbye, go and see her and say goodbye - cry if you need to its ok, it is all part of life.
